Arkadia Limited, is a firm of Chartered Accountants who specialise in helping owner managed businesses and individuals maximise their income and gains by making the best use of tax and related legislation.
We are based between Rochester and Maidstone in North Kent but are not limited by geography and have clients all over the UK and abroad. Use of email and digital documents means we can (and do) provide the same service to clients in Singapore or Spain as we do to those just down the road.
Our business client base is typically skilled in their chosen occupation and making every effort to make the best possible living from what they do best, but lacking the time, resources or inclination to learn everything they might need to know about financial accounting and how to make the best of the complex mix of tax rules which affect their business.
We have an eclectic mix of clients, including not just the builders, plumbers and associated trades you might expect, but (to name just a few) solicitors, farriers, designers, doctors, engineers, salesmen, dance instructors, consultants in all sorts of things, authors, publishers, drivers, a shepherd and a silent disco (yes really!) The one thing these people have in common is that they all recognise that the best way to deal with the complexities and problems of modern accounting and tax compliance is to invest in someone to deal with it properly while they spend their time earning a living.
Our personal clients tend to be those with a little more complex tax affairs who want the peace of mind that comes from knowing that they are meeting their legal reporting requirments whilst retaining as much of their income or gains as possible. Maybe they have a let investment property, or just a wide range of investments. Maybe they are "Englishment Abroad" who need someone to help keep things in order back home, maybe they are Overseas Nationals on secondment in the UK. Maybe they simply find the thought of dealing directly with HM Revenue & Customs just a bit too unnerving.
